TP Tubes
28g (Road) to 65g (MTB 29) tubes will save you 80-200g in the area that will benefit you the most and offer you better-rolling resistance as well. Proven.
A standard Butyl Road Inner Tube from a cycle shop will weigh 100g plus. A lightweight one, maybe 85g. The same weight as a Latex tube.
So why wouldn't you pay a little extra for a tougher and lighter Thermoplastic tube?
